The above table provides a performance comparison of the TenBestStocks Model Portfolio versus major mutual funds.  It compares the TenBestStocks Model Portfolio to the mutual funds identified by the Morningstar  rating service demonstrating the best performance over the most recent five year, three year, one year, and three month periods (where available) - and since TenBestStocks inception in May 1999.  It is not intended to provide a comprehensive comprehensive comparison against all mutual funds.

Important points that should be considered: 

(1)  The above funds are the very best mutual funds.  There are several thousand mutual funds available;  over 80% of all mutual  funds do not even match the performance of the unmanaged S&P 500 Index. 

(2)  The performance of mutual funds with differing investment strategies will be impacted by specific market conditions.  Over time a specific mutual fund should be expected to perform consistent with its strategic goals (as a growth fund, sector fund, bear fund, etc.) which may or may not be advantageous to the investor.  An investor's investment strategy  should consider his/her  time horizon and review all performance data in that context.
